Folk group based in and around Cambodia. Locally known as “The Gatecrashers” for ability to turn up and play anywhere. Ballads, Folk songs of the sea & emigration, the lash & lost love, Shanties & Jigs. Englishman Mark Chattaway first started playing with fiddler Chris Davis in 2010 around Kampot, a southern town in Cambodia. They went on to form the Khmer Rock group “Kampot Playboys” Kevie, also living in Kampot, joined the mix. Mark & Kev continued to play together at local sessions and are happy to be joined by Chris Davis on his return to Cambodia. They share a passion & love for old songs & roots music.
