Hulabilly is a musical and visual show featuring rockabilly singer & guitarist Woody Dares and LED circus artist Yolanda. Back in the western world, Woody was touring with different bands across Europe as a songwriter, lead guitarist and even banjo player. He has released three albums and has played over 6oo shows worldwide. Yolanda grew up in Glastonbury, England, and goes back every year to work on one of the biggest festivals in the world, performing there in 2016 and 2017. She has also brought the festival spirit to Cambodia, helping to organise Freeflow Festival of Fire and Arts on Koh Rong in January 2016. With a light-up hulahoop (with a 42 key remote control!) and fibre-optic pixie-whips her dancing creates constantly changing light patterns that leave audiences hypnotised. Having met performing in Otres Village, Woody and Yolanda chose to settle in the kingdom of wonders, and have combined their skills to create a live music and circus venue called “Stray Cats”. In their spare time, for over a year now, they’ve been performing across Cambodia, and have developed a truly unique show. The duet combine reinvented classics with original compositions, in an upbeat and unusual performance.
