Erick Gonzalez is a French-Guatemalan visual artist living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for two years.
His artistic career began almost twenty years ago in Guatemala. He has exhibited his art works in different countries such as France, Spain, Bulgaria, Norway, UK and Cambodia. He is a versatile artist who moves between painting, installation, contemporary sculpture, photo and street art. His works mainly deal with social issues, identity and memory. He is passionate about art and literature and his work is often inspired by the work of essayists, theorists and writers. Books have always been a “fetish object” in his creation.
